AI has already reached Spanish companies, though less than it seems. According to the INE survey on ICT and e-commerce use in companies (published on 22 October 2025), 21.1% of companies with ten or more employees used artificial intelligence in the first quarter of 2025, up 8.7 points on the previous year. Put another way: nearly eight in ten still do not use it.

Una IA responde con los datos que hay en el ERP. Si las facturas se registran tarde, si el stock no se actualiza o si la mitad de las ventas vive en un Excel aparte, la respuesta será rápida, pero incompleta. An AI answers with the data that is in the ERP. If invoices are recorded late, if stock is not updated or if half of sales live in a separate spreadsheet, the answer will be fast but incomplete. Before thinking about AI, the ERP has to be properly set up and in use. If you still work with spreadsheets, start by moving from Excel to Odoo without losing data.

Odoo 19 trae una aplicación de inteligencia artificial propia, pero no forma parte del código de Odoo Community: va con la edición Enterprise, que se paga por usuario. Odoo 19 ships its own artificial intelligence app, but it is not part of the Odoo Community code: it comes with the Enterprise edition, which is charged per user. According to Odoo's official documentation, its standard assistant answers plain-language questions, opens views and improves text, but does not make changes to the database.
